Peyush Bansal Buys South Delhi Property for ₹18 Crore

Peyush Bansal, co-founder and CEO of Lenskart, purchased a premium residential property in New Delhi for ₹18 crore. The property is located in Neeti Bagh, one of South Delhi’s prime residential localities. According to documents accessed by CRE Matrix, the transaction highlighted rising demand for luxury residential assets in the capital. Startup founders and business executives continue investing in premium real estate across Delhi-NCR.

South Delhi remains one of India’s most preferred luxury housing markets. Limited fresh supply and strong redevelopment activity continue supporting premium property prices. Buyers are also preferring larger homes in established residential localities. Therefore, demand for independent residential assets remains stable across South Delhi. Luxury housing transactions have also increased after the pandemic period.

Deal Details

Peyush Bansal acquired the basement and ground floor of an 813-square-yard property in Neeti Bagh. The total transaction value stood at nearly ₹18 crore. Buyers also paid around ₹1.08 crore as stamp duty and corporation taxes. The transaction was completed in 2023. Premium redevelopment opportunities continue attracting wealthy buyers across South Delhi.

According to market sources, a South Delhi-based builder acquired the remaining three floors and terrace rights through separate transactions. The builder may redevelop the property and sell the floors individually. Reports also stated that one-third of the redeveloped property was already sold to Bansal. Redevelopment-led transactions therefore continue increasing across South Delhi’s luxury housing market.

Startup Founders Continue Buying Luxury Homes

Startup founders and entrepreneurs are increasingly investing in premium residential properties. Executives from India’s startup ecosystem continue targeting independent homes and luxury gated communities. Industry experts also observed rising investments in areas such as Greater Kailash and Gurgaon. Therefore, luxury housing demand across Delhi-NCR remains stable among affluent buyers.

Earlier, Neha Bansal purchased a 400-square-yard bungalow in Greater Kailash for ₹22 crore. Entrepreneurs such as Siddharth Shah, Zishaan Hayath, and Aman Gupta have also invested in premium properties. Wealth creation across India’s startup ecosystem is therefore supporting luxury real estate demand.

South Delhi Luxury Housing Market Remains Strong

South Delhi continues witnessing strong demand for luxury residential properties and redevelopment projects. Premium localities such as Neeti Bagh and Greater Kailash remain preferred among wealthy buyers. Large independent homes and bungalow plots also remain limited in supply. Therefore, premium property prices across South Delhi continue staying firm.

According to industry reports, high-net-worth individuals remain optimistic about luxury real estate investments. Buyers are increasingly preferring premium apartments, farmhouses, and independent homes. Luxury housing demand is therefore expected to remain stable in the coming years. Delhi-NCR continues emerging as a key luxury residential market in India.
