ABSA Fashions, led by designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, has leased a large office space in Mumbai’s Goregaon, according to documents reviewed by CRE Matrix.

The lease follows Reliance Brands’ majority investment in the label, marking the beginning of a broader expansion phase.

Deal Details

The leased office space spans approximately 102,000 sq. ft., covering 18 floors in a commercial building located in Goregaon, Mumbai. The agreement has been signed for a five-year tenure, with the total rental outflow estimated at over ₹60 crore during the lease period.

The lease includes a structured escalation clause, with rentals set to increase by around 12% after the initial three years, aligning with standard commercial leasing practices in metro cities.

In addition to the workspace, the agreement provides access to dedicated parking spaces and terrace areas, enhancing functionality for a growing team and business operations.

Strategic Expansion Backed by Reliance

The office lease follows the strategic investment by Reliance Brands, which acquired a 51% stake in the label. While the partnership brings financial strength and retail expansion opportunities, the designers continue to oversee the creative direction of the brand.

This expansion indicates a shift towards consolidating operations under a larger, integrated workspace, enabling better coordination across design, production, and business functions.
