Bollywood singer Shantanu Mukherji, popularly known as Shaan, and his wife, Radhika Mukherji, have strengthened their real estate portfolio with a ₹47.64-crore purchase in Mumbai’s Bandra West. According to property registration documents accessed by CRE Matrix, the couple purchased three luxury apartments from developer NVK Realty LLP in the Palmera project on Turner Road.

What are the transaction details of Shaan’s Bandra property purchase?

The three apartments occupy higher floors of the Palmera project and span a combined area of 6,267.87 sq ft. Shaan and Radhika purchased each apartment for ₹15.88 crore, taking the total consideration to ₹47.64 crore.

The transaction was registered on August 20, 2026, and attracted a total stamp duty of ₹2.70 crore. The deal also includes nine car parking spaces. The couple has combined the three individual apartments to create a single residence.

The developer’s website highlights Palmera’s Bollywood connection, noting that the luxury condominium on Turner Road was formerly home to veteran actor Mala Sinha.

How is Mumbai’s luxury housing market performing?

Shaan’s latest purchase comes as Mumbai continues to see strong demand for luxury homes. Over the trailing 12 months, Mumbai recorded 1,699 luxury home transactions, the highest number ever achieved within one year, according to the  Luxury Housing Report – Mumbai (H1 CY’26), by India Sotheby’s International Realty (India SIR) and CRE Matrix.

The high-value Bandra transaction also highlights the appeal of established premium neighbourhoods among affluent homebuyers seeking larger residences and prime locations in Mumbai.

Which other Bollywood singers have invested in Mumbai real estate?

Shaan joins a growing list of Bollywood singers making substantial investments in Mumbai’s luxury housing market. Earlier this year, playback singer Shreya Ghoshal, along with her parents Shamishtha Ghoshal and Biswajit Ghoshal, purchased an apartment in Worli for ₹29.70 crore, according to property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards.

The latest transactions underline the continued interest of high-profile buyers in Mumbai’s premium residential market, particularly in established locations such as Bandra West and Worli.
