India’s hospitality sector continues to witness strategic real estate investments, particularly across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR). According to property registration documents reviewed by CRE Matrix, Advent Convention and Hotels International Limited have acquired a premium land parcel in Mumbai for ₹275 crore.
Key Details of the ₹275 Crore Land Transaction
The transaction involves a land parcel measuring 21,978.22 square metres located in Sahar village, Vile Parle, one of the most prominent commercial and hospitality hubs in Mumbai’s western suburbs. Advent Convention and Hotels International purchased the property from its parent company, Advent Hotels International.
The deal was registered on June 4, 2026. Advent Convention and Hotels International paid a stamp duty of ₹16.5 crore to complete the transaction.
Why Is Sahar Village Emerging as a Key Hospitality Destination?
Sahar village in Vile Parle, near Mumbai’s international airport, is a key hospitality and commercial hub. Its connectivity and established hotel ecosystem continue to attract hospitality investments in the MMR.
The latest acquisition strengthens Advent’s presence in one of Mumbai’s most sought-after hospitality corridors and provides a sizeable land bank for future development opportunities.
What Does Advent Hotels International’s Portfolio Look Like?
Advent Hotels International operates as a hotel owner, developer, and asset manager with a growing presence across India. The company currently has seven owned and under-construction hospitality assets comprising 3,517 keys.
Its portfolio spans major markets including the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, Delhi, and Goa. The company has partnered with leading global hospitality brands such as Hilton, Hyatt, and Marriott International to develop and operate its properties.
According to information available on the company’s website, Advent currently operates two luxury hotels—Grand Hyatt Goa and Hilton Mumbai International Airport. The company is also developing two luxury and upper-upscale hotels in Delhi Aerocity and three additional hospitality projects in the Mumbai region.
How Does This Acquisition Align With Advent’s Growth Strategy?
The acquisition reflects Advent’s long-term commitment to expanding its hospitality footprint in high-demand urban markets. The acquisition provides Advent Convention and Hotels International with a substantial land bank in one of Mumbai’s key hospitality corridors. It also creates opportunities for future hotel development projects while strengthening the company’s footprint in the city’s premium hospitality market.
The deal highlights the growing demand for strategically located land parcels in established hospitality destinations. As developable land becomes increasingly scarce in such markets, competition among hotel operators and investors continues to intensify.
What Has Been Advent’s Recent Corporate Milestone?
Advent Hotels International was listed on the BSE and NSE in November 2025 following its demerger from Valor Estate.
Since the listing, the company has continued to focus on portfolio expansion and development-led growth. The latest Mumbai land acquisition reflects the company’s strategy to expand across key hospitality markets through partnerships with leading global hotel brands.
