Shreya Ghoshal Buys Luxury Apartment in Santacruz West for ₹20.88 Crore

Playback singer Shreya Ghoshal, along with her family members Sarmistha Ghoshal and Bishwajit Ghoshal, has purchased a luxury apartment in Santacruz West, Mumbai, for ₹20.88 crore. Property registration documents accessed by CRE Matrix confirm the transaction. 

This acquisition marks the third property purchase by the Ghoshal family within the last three months. Earlier this month, they bought two luxury apartments in Worli for nearly ₹60 crore, according to registration records.

Deal Details

The newly acquired apartment is located in the Vaayu building on Sarojini Road. The seller for the transaction is Aum Developers Realty.

The apartment is on a higher floor and offers a carpet area of 2,601 sq ft, plus a 299 sq ft balcony. This brings the total usable space to approximately 2,900 sq ft, making it a spacious, premium residence in one of the city’s established suburban pockets.

The deal was officially registered on April 24, 2026. The buyers paid a stamp duty of ₹1.25 crore as part of the transaction. The purchase also includes three dedicated car parking spaces, which add significant value in a dense urban market like Mumbai.

The project is a redevelopment of the Sukhada building. Across Mumbai, developers are replacing aging residential structures with modern, amenity-rich developments, reflecting a broader market trend.
