The transaction, registered on August 12, 2026, involves a residence on the 28th floor of Tower C and highlights continued demand for premium homes in Mumbai\u2019s established residential markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>Transaction Details<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the sale deed reviewed by CRE Matrix, the property has a carpet area of approximately 996 sq ft and includes one tandem car-parking space measuring around 240 sq ft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The sale deed records the purchase consideration at \u20b96.42 crore. In addition, Mali paid \u20b932.12 lakh in stamp duty and \u20b930,000 in registration charges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>How much of the purchase did the housing loan cover?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Mali financed most of the purchase through a housing loan from Indian Bank. The bank sanctioned a \u20b95.78 crore loan on July 28, 2026, against the \u20b96.42 crore purchase price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result, the loan covers roughly 90% of the property&#8217;s purchase value. Mali will fund the remaining amount from her own resources, apart from the stamp duty, registration charges and other transaction-related costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>Why does Oberoi Exquisite continue to attract celebrity transactions?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Mali\u2019s purchase adds to a series of high-value celebrity transactions recorded at Oberoi Exquisite. The Goregaon East development has previously seen significant deals involving Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In October and November 2025, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crematrix.com\/blog\/amitabh-bachchan-sells-two-oberoi-exquisite-apartments-in-goregaon-for-%e2%82%b96-crore-each\/\">Amitabh Bachchan sold two apartments in the project for \u20b96 crore each, generating a combined sale value of \u20b912 crore<\/a>. Each apartment measured approximately 1,820 sq ft and included two parking spaces. The transactions were registered on October 31 and November 1, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bachchan had purchased the two apartments in 2012 for a combined \u20b98.12 crore.
